Project Overview

ACUPLACE is the official experiential-learning management system built for Ajayi Crowther University. It handles SIWES, Industrial Training, Teaching Practice, Clinical Practicum and Internships end to end — from application through to verified digital certification.

The challenge

Universities track thousands of students on attachment using paper logbooks, manual supervisor visits and hand-signed forms. Records get lost, supervision is inconsistent, and certificates are easy to forge.

What we built

  • Student learning hub — apply, pay session fees via Paystack, clock daily attendance, submit weekly logbooks with photo uploads and download certificates.
  • Supervisor portal — assigned rosters, on-site and virtual visit reports, logbook approval with feedback and structured rubric scoring.
  • Host employer portal — company profiles, placement acceptance, intern attendance monitoring and final appraisals.
  • University admin hub — session configuration, supervisor assignment, risk intelligence dashboards and custom reporting.
  • Public certificate verification with QR authenticity seals and cryptographically signed credentials.
  • REST API and webhook ecosystem for integration with existing student records systems.

The outcome

A single platform now supports every faculty and degree path, giving the university executive-level visibility over placements while students get verifiable, tamper-proof credentials they can share with employers.
